Bethuel Mbaramah

Bethuel鈥檚 career in nursing practice span鈥檚 over a decade. Early life in the profession started in occupational health, medical-surgical, accident and emergency nursing, practice experience were mainly in NHS.

Having worked with students in different areas of practice, Bethuel has noticed a significant gaps between practice and theoretical learning for many students. This has inspired Bethuel to get involved within the educational sector in training nurses that will be properly equipped in theoretical and clinical proficiencies, capable of changing the current and emerging local and global health challenges. This inspiration led to joining 台湾六合彩开奖记录 as a lecturer in Adult Nursing in April 2022.

Teaching nursing students have opened a new frontier of interest and change in philosophical approach to learning. Bethuel is a strong advocate for student-centred learning. As a student guider within the learning environment, Bethuel views teaching as a learning process were knowledge facilitator learn from students as they are being thought and student learn as well by taking charge of their learning process.

Bethuel believes that the more students are robustly engaged in learning process, the more students learning needs, higher analytical order, inclusivity in learning and constructive alignment of teaching content to contemporary health needs are met.

Bethuel is the unit lead- Introduction to public health, teaches in several units, post graduate research supervision and recruitment lead - BSc Adult nursing.

Currently, Bethuel is a doctoral student with University of Suffolk with interest in "Exploring international nursing students' perceptions of the English learning culture and its impact on their academic and professional achievements"
