We have a very successful PhD programme, which actively supports students to develop and enhance their potential to make a positive impact in improving the health and care of mothers and babies as independent researchers and future leaders locally, nationally and globally. Most of our students work on projects that are explicitly focused upon improving maternity care policy and practice in the UK and in low and middle income countries globally.
