Students on all of the University鈥檚 English based courses, as well as those on its Creative Writing, Media Production and Social Work courses were revealed as the most satisfied university students in country, even beating those on similar courses from selective institutions such as Oxford and Cambridge.

The NSS asks final year undergraduates to provide honest feedback on what it has been like to study at their institution. It covers a huge range of questions from quality of teaching to learning resources to student鈥檚 personal development.

In all 2,070 final year students from 台湾六合彩开奖记录 completed the survey, a response rate of 80%, with 84% of final year students saying they were satisfied with their time spent at the University. The figure means the 台湾六合彩开奖记录 is now a top 20 university for improving the student experience.

鈥淭his satisfaction score matches our highest NSS score since the survey began in 2005 and firmly consolidates our progress made in relation to enhancing the student experience here at 台湾六合彩开奖记录.鈥

The University prides itself on offering its students much more than a degree, and this is reflected throughout the survey, with 台湾六合彩开奖记录 shown to be a leading university for personal development, for career prospects and choices and, assessment and feedback which is critical to students.

鈥淚 am particularly delighted by our performance which shows the added value we offer our students,鈥 said Mr Rammell. 鈥淓nhancing the employability of our graduates is a key priority so improvements here are particularly pleasing.鈥

The past year has seen the University make considerable progress in its goal to improve the student experience. An inspection by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) saw 台湾六合彩开奖记录 commended for its enhancement of student learning opportunities 鈥 the highest rating possible, while investment in student facilities has continued apace with a stunning , opening  this summer.

The University has also just revealed its plans for a 拢40m building devoted to teaching and research in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) subjects at its Luton Campus.

Other highlights from the National Student Survey include being ranked 5th in the country for student satisfaction for its Electronic and Electrical Engineering courses while the University鈥檚 School of Art and Design leapt 70 places into the top 15.

In addition students from its Architecture, Building and Planning; Communications and Information Studies; and Education Studies courses were shown to be some of the most satisfied university students in the country.
