Love to Ride - success for University

The University took the top spot for staff participation in the Love to Ride ̨ÍåÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ scheme which ran throughout March.
We were ranked first out of 31 participating organisations for staff actively cycling in and around ̨ÍåÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼.
There is even more reason to celebrate, as our own Purchase Ledger Clerk, Helen Frizzell, has been awarded a £100 Halfords voucher for her participation in the scheme.
"I was pleasantly surprised and very pleased to have won this voucher. I am planning to take my bike along to the local Halfords store in the very near future for a service," said Helen.
The scheme's aim is to get more people cycling and to raise the profile of cycling in Luton and ̨ÍåÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼.
Staff can still sign up and join the ̨ÍåÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ Love to Ride team at any time; everyone can log trips, set goals, do virtual rides, share photos and encourage others.
